Rooted in a strong academic and leadership foundation from Cass Technical High School in Detroit, my journey has been a blend of rigorous training and practical experience. After graduating with a 3.857 GPA, I pursued a Finance degree at Michigan State University’s Eli Broad School of Business, complemented by summer studies at Harvard University. My early internships at KPMG, Ernst & Young, and Compuware laid the groundwork for a career dedicated to financial excellence.

With over 12 years of experience across the public and private sectors—including roles at the National Futures Association and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)—I bring a depth of regulatory, audit, and financial strategy expertise. At the CFTC, I also proudly serve as Union President, advocating for a fair and flexible workplace for 450+ employees while leading key policy negotiations.

In December 2013, I founded Mac Neal LLC to provide personalized, educational accounting services with a client-first mindset. What began as a solo venture has grown into a trusted, bilingual (English & Spanish) virtual firm serving individuals and businesses across all 50 states. While we’re based in Chicago and San Diego, our services—including Bookkeeping, Tax Preparation, CFO/Controller Services, and Entity Formation—are available nationwide through a digital-first approach.

Ricardo Delgado is a detail-oriented accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting, tax preparation, and business management across both the U.S. and Mexico. As a bilingual professional fluent in Spanish and English, Ricardo brings a unique cross-border perspective that helps clients seamlessly navigate complex accounting and tax challenges on either side of the border.

Ricardo specializes in QuickBooks, financial statement analysis, expense control, payroll, and process optimization. Over his career, he has managed accounting operations for U.S. and Mexican companies, handled intercompany balances, overseen invoicing and collections, and implemented financial strategies to optimize business performance.

He has served in accounting roles for firms such as Integration Consulting, Unicus Developments, and NHR Inmobiliaria, where he built a reputation for accuracy, efficiency, and strong client relationships. Ricardo also earned his QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification and continues to expand his expertise with ongoing professional development in data analysis and financial tools.

With a background in Contabilidad from Escuela Bancaria y Comercial in Mexico City, Ricardo is committed to delivering clarity, compliance, and confidence to every client.
