Mac Neal LLC provides services including, but not limited to:

  • Bookkeeping services
  • Tax strategy and planning
  • CFO and financial advisory services
  • IRS resolution and compliance support
  • Entity formation services

The specific scope of services, pricing, and deliverables will be outlined in a separate engagement letter or agreement prior to the start of any work.

These Engagement Terms are general in nature and do not replace or override any signed engagement agreement.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, complete, and timely information
  • Submitting all required documentation through the secure client portal
  • Reviewing all completed work (including tax returns) before approval and submission
  • Notifying us of any changes or additional information that may impact their return or services

Mac Neal LLC is not responsible for errors, penalties, or additional liabilities resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or late information provided by the client.

Communication Policy

We primarily communicate via email to ensure accuracy, documentation, and timely follow-up.

  • General inquiries and updates will be handled via email
  • Calls are available by appointment through scheduled booking links
  • Urgent matters will be addressed as appropriate based on availability

Secure Document Handling

For your security:

  • All documents must be uploaded through the secure Intuit client portal
  • We do not accept sensitive tax documents via email

The client portal is the primary method for:

  • Document submission
  • Questionnaire completion
  • Return review and approval

Pricing & Fees

  • All services are priced based on complexity, scope, and required forms
  • Pricing listed on the website reflects starting rates only
  • Additional forms, schedules, or services may increase the total fee

Final pricing will be confirmed as part of the engagement process and outlined in the engagement letter where applicable.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due prior to filing unless otherwise agreed upon
  • Pay-by-refund options may be available and include applicable third-party processing fees
  • Work may be paused or delayed if payment requirements are not met

Turnaround Time

Typical turnaround time for tax preparation is:

  • 24–48 hours after all required documents and information have been received for individual tax returns

Turnaround time may vary based on:

  • Completeness of documentation
  • Complexity of the return
  • Volume during peak tax season

No Guarantee of Outcome

Mac Neal LLC prepares all filings based on the information provided by the client.

We do not guarantee:

  • Specific tax outcomes
  • Refund amounts
  • Protection from audits

Limitation of Liability

Mac Neal LLC’s liability is limited to the fees paid for the services rendered.
We are not responsible for:
• Penalties or interest resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information
• Actions taken based on incomplete or misunderstood advice

Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the engagement at any time.
  • The client is responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date
  • Any outstanding balances must be resolved prior to release of final documents

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and handle all data in accordance with professional standards and secure systems.

All sensitive information is managed through secure platforms, including the Intuit client portal.

Agreement

By engaging Mac Neal LLC for services, you acknowledge and agree to these Engagement Terms.
A separate engagement letter or agreement may be required prior to the start of services and will govern the specific details of your engagement.
